Creating a mood board for pre production for my environmental campaign. The mood board includes my photos taken at a extinction rebellion march in September 2019. The mood board also has my logo in the corner that is seen below showing how I made it and what it stands for.

Creating a Brand and Logo
Brand
After researching environmental organisations and charities also looking further into extinction rebellion I have come up with the brand and organisation of 'Earth Drop' A similar organisation to extinction rebellion but aim is to target and improve those who affect the environment rather than blocking roads.
Strap-line

​My organisations strap line and slogan shows the main aim complimenting the brand and logo:
'drop the heat of our Earth'

Logo
​
The logo is a water droplet but the colour of heat, meaning the Earth is getting to hot and the sea levels are rising. I think this is powerful like extinction rebellions name and logo as it shows the consequences the Earth is facing.

Promoting 'Earth Drop'

My main promotion strategy is impact people by telling the truth with facts they can't argue with. We don't want to scare the public we want them to do something before its too late.

Designing Earth Drop Posters
Earth Drops aim is to attract and impact the public with the truth in a powerful and simple way to know who we are and what we want. I designed several posters that I believe would make an impact. I took some inspiration form the last two projects we did designing eye catching minimalist posters that you remember and work well.

Below are my two final posters. Below them are the first templates I created and then developed and changed to end become the final piece.


Creating Earth Drop Promo Video
Below is the promotional video I created for my charity and campaign Earth Drop. The videos aim is to get the brand known and people to join the fight to save the planet. I used footage we filmed when at a climate strike combined with information all In the brands font and effects to reveal the logo. The video is only 30 seconds as I wanted it to be quick and clear, not to long and boring more moving video sound and a clear image of who we are.
First Templates of Earth Drop Posters
At first I had messages on the posters however I thought this was a bit too much and would not impact people enough as they would feel it's a bit of a crazy and possibly extreme charity, where as Earth Drop only wants the backing of the public in a peaceful way.

Changing the designs to a simple look without the messages or statements makes the brand, logo and name recognisable instead. People are then more likely to know and understand who Earth Drop are and what they want and do.


Social Media Campaign
For Earth Drop's campaign, social media was going to be a key strategy as the older generations are clearly not doing enough so it's unfortunately become the younger generation's problem that they will have to solve. This is why getting known on social media is so crucial in this campaign.
Earth Drops Instargram will be very simple sharing
story photos of events and some videos however
most videos will be put up on the Youtube account.

and videos showing why something needs to be done
about climate change.

Earth Drops Twitter account will tweet simple and short
meaningful quotes and messages about climate change.

Snapchat
​
Earth Drops Snapchat account will upload stories everyday updating the younger generation on how they are doing at the process of saving the planet.
Earth Drops Facebook account will update when events will take place and will also just upload the same as the instagram account.
